Instead of buying a powerful but expensive machine with a lot of resources to be able to lab big and heavy labs, I created a virtual machine in Google Cloud with Eve-ng I connect to it remotely to create all the Networking topologies I want.
If I don’t have my personal computer or if I’d like to change my personal computer, I don’t worry about losing all the data from my old labs this is a big advantage for students because sometimes you’d like to refer to old labs you’ve been working on and doing them over and over again is just a waste of time.
Google gives you 3 month free trial, after that, I just pay around 8-18 usd (18usd only the months I’ve used it a lot).
